You must be recognized by the provincial government of the Atlantic province in which the applicant will be employed before you may make a job offer and hire a candidate. You can offer jobs under the Atlantic Immigration Pilot if you are “designated.” The provinces are in charge of designation. Your organization must meet the following criteria in order to be designated: 

• maintain a positive reputation 
• have at least 2 years of experience operating in the Atlantic region 
• collaborate with a settlement service provider to assist your applicants in obtaining settlement services.

You must indicate permanent as the end date in box 22 of your offer of employment if you’re recruiting a foreign worker for a permanent position through the Intermediate-skilled worker program (IMM 5650). Complete the form and provide your candidate a copy. They are required to sign it.
To acquire a settlement plan, the candidate will require a copy of the form as well as a copy of your Confirmation of Designation.

Plan for a settlement 

The candidate will design a settlement strategy in collaboration with a settlement service provider organization at this stage. The organization can be the same as the one with which you worked to get designated, or the candidate can choose another.
